Technology in Schools
I personally think using technology in schools is very beneficial for students and teachers. Using technology motivates and encouranges students to learn more and be curious about what's going on around them. In this day and age students will be better prepared for their future careers by uitilizing various forms of technology. The communication value alone is priceless, the fact that you can communicate with someone around the world in an instant via email, text or Skype is amazing. I wish I would have had some of these resources available to me as I was growing up.

Preaching to the choir here! :-) I (obviously) thing technology in schools is great. Not perfect by any means, but a fantastic resource. Being able to share what I've discovered with others is the best thing thast ever happened to me.
ReplyDeleteThe students in my district are so lucky and blessed. All classes have huge 30x54 inch. flat screen tv's in rooms and of course not including smart boards.
ReplyDeleteI completely agree that technology will make students more eager to learn. It provides variety in the classroom and gives students the opportunity to participate in hands-on lessons. Our world has become dependant on technology, and it should become madatory that students become familiar with how to use different types of computers and software.
